confirmed:
- if a street food stall is in business for 3 generations it beats every fancy restaurant. if you spend your life cooking a special soy sauce you know how to do it.
- won’t be able to cook it at home like they do, but trained my taste. if all the eating improves my cooking? we'll see.
- if it comes to food i have absolutely ZERO multi tasking abilities. didn’t take a single picture. always wanted to, but then the plate came and my brain signaled: food! … happy hormones flowing. and when the plate was gone, brain said: find more food! ...
meet an american-armenian couple and we’re talking about - no surprise - food. each of us shares his personal experiences and recommendations. the guy looks very irritated at me:
- i’ m jealous. i spend hours in the gym... look at you. you just don’t look like all the things you eat. do you have a supermetabolism?
- no clue. maybe it‘s even a hypermetabolism? just the result of good genes, acceptable cooking abilities and some sport.
apart from culinary expeditions:
- khoo kongsi clan house.
- street art on the way to the next dish.
